You could spray paint this one, or paint with Swellegant Metal Coating and then add patina.....alcohol inks, Gilders Paste. To drill: I go with EASY. Put it upside down on your bench block and from the inside, tap it with a center punch (find them in the TOOLS section of this site!) This makes a pilot guide for the hole. Then take a decent sized NAIL and tamp it with your hammer on the bench block til it goes through the metal. You can file the hole on top if it is a bit rough. Cover that with a rondelle bead or wafer bead, or a bead cap....or both. VOILA! Sweet success!
