Cotton Pearls are back!! What are they you ask? Cotton pearls are tightly compressed, spun cotton which is then coated with a pearl lacquer giving them a beautifully textured finish. They were invented in the mid 1800's as a lightweight alternative bead. Then during the Art Deco era, multi-layered, pearl necklaces were all the rage, however the weight of these pearl necklaces made them uncomfortable to wear. To address this issue, manufacturers began using the cotton pearl! Problem solved! These are a chubby teardrop shape and measure 8mm. You will receive 10 pieces per package.
